Comments: I and all of my mates think a legal cruise site is a fantastic idea, every time we go Southend or Lakeside one of us ends up getting pulled over by the local police for no reason just cos we have modded cars. Top idea would be best inside the M25 so the four corners can come together without going too far. Even if we have to pay per car its worth it. The council can spend the cash on what ever they like. The word cash will make any council listen to your ideas. keep at it and email me if it happens

I totally and utterly agree with what you are doing.
Cruising is getting more and more popular by the
minute, but there is never anywhere decent to go
Merry hill is a total joke cus the old bill just dont leave you alone, Birmingham is just as bad. I have been driving and modififying for ten years now, and i have always said to my fellow cruisers how mint it would be to go somewhere private where the pigs cant do anything! Even if we have to pay an entry fee of a couple of quid to wherever it is wouldn't be a problem as long as we knew that we weren't gonna get thrown out! As for a venue, as long as is wasn't too far away, people would travel to it if they knew there wasn't gonna be any trouble. I went to a cruise in Northampton we drove for about 50 miles but it was well worth it cus when we got there, there was hundreds of modded cars
and luckily no hassle off the police, just a couple of them walking round the car park. If only that could happen in other areas!
Anyway, the north Birmingham (sutton coldfield) crew
are totally up for it so lets hope you get loads of
support, which im sure you will, so lets get it organized.

Comments: I think this is a great idea, everywhere round our area has been stopped, if the Police and public are so bothered about what we do then they should jump at the chance to get us out somewhere where they cnt hear us and where there's no danger of accidents with pedestrians! They could even make money out of it....im sure there is plenty of empty airfields that they could put us on without affecting them! Everyone would be much happier, we wud be off the streets and off private land and not making loads of noise near anyone who can hear and also we wont have 2 worry about the cops turning up and ruining the thing we like 2 do best! Everything was great until we reached to Hamshall when the old bill came along and find my mate for having his blue side lights on with his fogs. never the less we carried on to trax and i got my car and cought up with the cruise. In stoke there are talking to the local council to see if the massive car park at the britania stadium (football club) could be used.you could charge a small fee to enter, the money could go to pay for the event to be properly organised, i.e. safety,security and so on. Could even give a percentage to a local charity? keep local people happy. keep on cruising!!!
